Lightweight design
The Lucas sofa is designed in the spirit of minimalism, with the idea of maximum living space that is kept tidy. The contoured fabric edges create a sense of cosiness, emphasised by the high natural beech legs.
Easy to clean
If you have small children or pets, you can wash the sofa covers weekly. The removable seat and back cushions have a double cover, which makes washing easier - you can use the sofa while the covers dry. Replacing the covers is as easy as possible.
Easy cleaning under the sofa
Cleaning under the sofa is extremely easy thanks to the 14 cm high solid wood legs, and the robot vacuum cleaner moves easily under the sofa. The vacuum cleaner reaches even the most remote corners without having to move the sofa.
Ergonomic design
Even without the sofa bed option, the Lucas sofa is suitable for sleeping - the separate back cushions allow you to use the full depth of the seat for sleeping. Remove the back cushions and you have a single bed with a depth of 79 cm, the length of which depends on the size of the sofa.
The flat seat with no inclination provides excellent sleeping comfort, just like a normal bed.
Easy rearrangement of the modules
The sofa's lightweight body makes it easy to move around, even by one person. This has been achieved by using a super strong and lightweight material used in World War II aircraft construction - plywood. All our modular sectional sofas are connected by two-piece metal 'crocodile' clasps that allow easy removal and reattachment.

In line with the requirements of sustainable design, the Lucas sofa has an extremely low carbon footprint. The weight to strength ratio of the materials used is exceptional, making it one of the most environmentally friendly sofas in our collection. Uniquely designed for low carbon transport, this corner sofa can be shipped on just one euro-pallet, dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of transport. The materials it is made from - mainly wood, metal and polyurethane - are easy to recycle - polyurethane, for example, is reused to make flooring. The basis of the circular economy is that things should last as long as possible - Lucas is the sustainable sofa that will serve you for decades.
